Kari Cooper is an emerging Riverland artist whose style is based on the whimsical and illustrative art of fairytales and classic storybooks. Bold and filled with colour, her work delves into watercolour, pen and the occasional oil painting. Recently, Kari has exhibited her work at Kapunda Regional Gallery in ‘Folklore and Fairytales’, with an additional joint exhibition, ‘Enchanted Worlds’, upcoming at Chaffey Theatre. Kari’s artwork has the ability to connect with any audience, breaking the barriers of age, upbringing and perception by connecting people through the beautiful shared language that is illustrative art. This SALA, she will be diasplaying select works at Loxcare Hub and hosting the community favourite ‘Enchanted Butterfly Shadowboxes’ workshop.
