Students from Waikerie, Ramco, Waikerie Lutheran Primary School and Waikerie High School have combined a variety of artwork produced during the year to showcase their skills to a wider audience. Age is no barrier when it comes to exhibiting work as this exhibition includes students from Reception students through to Year 10s with a range spanning across construction pieces, recycled art, collage, pastel, watercolour, acrylics and photography. Past student exhibitions have received high praise and the students themselves have been surprised seeing how framing and presenting their work in formal setting can take their work to a new level.
Also exhibiting will be the more senior of the community who are members of the local Paint n Plonk group. The group meets on an informal basis under the guidance of Susie Skujins, always with a new theme or technique to try. While none of the participants call themselves professionals, it an opportunity to meet with other like minded people to share and encourage each other in their enjoyment of painting.
This exhibition will be open for the duration of December and January during Rain Moth Gallery opening hours.
